When I look into your eyes
I can see a love restrained
But darlin' when I hold you
Don't you know I feel the same
'Cause nothin' lasts forever
And we both know hearts can change
And it's hard to hold a candle
In the cold November rain
Siren's Song
Friday, December 19, 2003
A brat princess feigning queen
Childish delights and wilful whims
Dreaming of dragons and her chilvarous knight
Yet knowing all along that it's not quite right
Now the queen has fallen, her pride got trodden
Her grace forgotten, her mind will be sodden
"Shiver my timbers," the old captain yells
Endlessly the queen tumbles, into the depths of hell
Down in the deeps she met a gollum
Chuckling "Ho ho ho and a barrel of rum"
"Tonight we drink," the queen declared
"May iniquity be freed and fangs be bared"
